in here there’s only warmth
dancing around
There’s no sound

De Mot

Er zit een mot in mijn keel,
en hij wil er niet uit.
Zachte, droge vleugels
houden alles tegen.
Adem, woorden, eten.
Hoe hard ik ook probeer
hem door te slikken
of uit te spugen,
hij wijkt geen strobreed,
zit muurvast.
Ik kokhals, maar het lukt
me ook al niet
in hem te stikken.
