Holga photos of the beach

Remember when I went to the beach with my parents on the second day of Christmas? Yeah. It’s a long while ago. But in addition to the digital photos I took I had also brought my Holga.

The film I shot on was Agfaphoto vista 400, which was my last roll of that film and I will not be buying it again. I find that I like other colour films that I’ve used a lot more. Though in this case the fault was also mine since I left the roll in for a very long time, and I messed up while rewinding, getting confused and unwind again before rewinding. But on to the photos!

I’m also still working on how my scanner reads the colours, it’s always good, but sometimes rescanning with the same settings gets me a different result.

The last includes the shoulder of my friend Anne, because I thought I still had a frame left when I didn’t 🙂

A walk at the beach

Flocking

The 2nd day of Christmas, while all my brothers and sisters were gone (to jobs or in-laws), my parents and I went to the beach to air out our heads and go on a walk. We weren’t the only people who had decided to go, so there were quite some people, but not so much as to be a bother. I liked it, some people brought their dogs and that led to wonderful playful photographic subject, not in the least because they made whole flocks of seagulls take flight.
